Through the solidarity fund of the IPS group (SOLIPS) set up since in October 2003, COFISAC is actively involved in the taking care of workers suffering from AIDS as well as in the initiation and monitoring of screening voluntary testing and prevention programs to fight HIV, malaria and tuberculosis.
COFISAC is involved in other social actions such as:
- The distribution of impregnated mosquito nets to all staff at the start of wintering,
- The establishment of a staff housing cooperative,
- The construction of a refectory,
- The establishment of a mutual health insurance,
- The organization of blood donations by staff twice a year.
